About HANCO Design & Fabrication

HANCO Design & Fabrication was built on a lifelong passion for the automotive world and an unshakable drive to create things that are truly extraordinary. Founder Harmon Anderson grew up in airplane hangars alongside his dad, learning the fundamentals of aviation, mechanical systems, and precision craftsmanship. Those early years sparked a curiosity that quickly expanded beyond aircraft.

By age 15, Harmon was fabricating cars and motorcycles, chasing the thrill of building machines that were fast, functional, and uniquely his own. His love for motorsports led him into amateur pro motocross racing across the United States, and eventually to Cannondale Motorcycle Company, where he worked as an R&D test rider and race team mechanic. These experiences sharpened his technical instincts and deepened his understanding of performance engineering.

Not only pushing his skill set in the automotive world, Harmon has also had the opportunity to be part of architectural projects across the US. Some of the projects he has been a part of are the University of Minnesota Alumni Wall, National Harbor in Washington DC, and the Miesblock building for Microsoft just to name a few.

Driven by a long‑held dream to build a company of his own, Harmon launched HANCO Design & Fabrication—a shop dedicated to custom builds for adventure vans, vehicles, motorcycles, and more. Using tools like AutoCAD and 3D modeling, he transforms ideas into detailed visual concepts and fully realized creations. His craftsmanship is defined by precision welding, meticulous attention to detail, and a broad foundation of automotive knowledge.

Harmon approaches every project with creativity, pride, and a commitment to delivering work that exceeds expectations. Whether the job is small, complex, or completely one‑of‑a‑kind, HANCO Design & Fabrication is here to bring your vision to life.
